WICHITA, KS – Congressman Mike Pompeo issued the following statement after his win in the Kansas Republican Primary:
“Today, we took the first important step in reclaiming America. Voters in Kansas have spoken and have made it clear we need a positive change for our state and nation.
“We need common sense leaders in Kansas—and in Washington—who will lead our nation back to where our nation’s founders intended. We need less job destroying federal and state regulation and more freedom for our entrepreneurs and Kansas business owners to create jobs and grow the economy. The outcome of today’s primary election speaks volumes for the future of our nation.
“Our work is not done. In fact, the fight for our nation’s future is just beginning. There is much to be done between now and November. We must work together as Republicans to ensure that we elect a new leader for our nation. We need a leader who will stop the Obama tax and spend machine in its tracks.”
